dlsl.pngAnother letter has been sent to the federal judge presiding over Deric Lostutter’s scheduled sentencing in March pleading for leniency. This letter seems to be from someone who has known Deric since he was a teenager. Or at least that is the claim.

I have noticed something of a pattern in some of the letters that have been sent to the court. First someone is using what appears to be lined tablet paper of the kind used by middle school students.

The next similarity is that there is an example of the “good acts” that Deric has done in the course of the relationship with the writer or writers.

The writers always seem to use the Steubenville rape case as a bullet point and to describe Deric is the kind of person would come to the aid of someone who is the victim of an injustice.

Another common theme in the support letters is for the author to zero in on the claim that the alleged rapists who were found guilty were “underpunished” leaving out the fact that they were minors at the time.

The author brings up the miscarriage that Deric’s wife suffered. The author blames the miscarriage on the stress the couple went through because of the impending criminal trial against Deric that was coming up around that time.

The author of the letter left out the alleged facts that Deric was using the impending birth of the child and the subsequent loss of the child to garner funds through the numerous donation websites set up by Deric as well as his wife. dlsl6

This letter differs only in that the author realizes that Deric needs to be punished, at least to some extent. The author reiterates that there is a family involved and that his wife and newborn child need Deric there to support them. This second point has been brought up in prior letters of support sent to the judge.

The author concludes that Deric engaged in an act of chivalry when he, along with Noah McHugh gained unauthorized access to a private website and downloaded highly personal and private information of the administrator of the website.

It is my opinion that Deric has not bothered to inform the couple who wrote that letter, of ALL the details that caused him to confess to the commission of the crime the federal government indicted him for.

I doubt the couple named in the letter have not been informed of the actions Deric was alleged to have taken against the administrator, those he accused of covering up the acts against Jane Doe and the alleged stalking and harassment of a number of individuals.

It is unlikely that he has informed the author of the letter of the complete details that led to the civil lawsuit he filed against those he originally allied himself with when news of the Steubenville rape case became widespread.

What strikes me in all of the support letters sent on behalf of Deric Lostutter is the wanton disregard for the rule of law by these people.

What Deric did was a severe violation of the personal privacy and lives of his victims. He compounded the crime by lying to the FBI more than once.

I would suggest that those who have written on Deric’s behalf or plan on doing so, take the time to thoroughly read the court records stating in detail, the actions for which he has plead guilty.

Perhaps they might clearly understand the seriousness of the criminal acts for which Deric has plead guilty.

The next step in the judicial process should be the submission of the sentencing report that the judge will also consider when sentencing Deric on March 8th.

That is, of course, unless there are more support letters that find their way into the court records.

Judy Kay ChavezThe one thing that remains true on the internet is that being anonymous cannot be guaranteed. Such is the case with the one known as @Radionewsblog or Radio for short.

A number of individuals including myself have had run ins with Radio and incurred her wrath for the simple mistake of criticizing her for posting personal information on her targets.

Radio was outed a few months back as behind a vast number of Twitter sock accounts that attacked those she considered her friends as well as her enemies. The methods are detailed in the article linked below:

Radio has been very adamant about denying that she is the person named in the article. She has mocked the person behind the effort and has also attacked the Florida atty that also discovered that she was behind the sock Twitter accounts.

It is interesting to note that neither the woman above nor Radio has taken any legal action against those who have published that information. According to the autobiography she once published, Radio would have the financial means necessary to carry out such an action.

You are invited to to to the above link and read the article. You can make up your own mind.

As for my take on the matter, I simply do not care if the woman is Radio or not. She has been outed as a game player and a liar and that is enough for me.

Everyone now knows the truth about Radio and will no longer get caught up in any of her games nor will they be tricked into playing games with whatever Sock account she creates in the future.

She would be better off doing what she always does, posting links to stories she finds on the internet on her blog as a way to draw people to her blog.

There is a well known expression “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” This would certainly apply to the sudden change in the relationship between Alexandra Goddard and Deric Lostutter.

Deric and Alex started out as friends and allies because of the Steubenville rape case. Also, because of the Steubenville rape case, they would become the bitterest of enemies. Her letter to the federal judge that will impose a sentence in response to his guilty plea of 2 federal charges against him, gives a brief synopsis as to why this alliance degenerated into war.

Ms. Goddard quickly gets to what side she is taking with Deric. She implores that the court throw the book at him.

Ms. Goddard points out the two primary reasons she is in favor of the maximum punishment for Deric. She has strong feelings about those who seek to become famous or to profit from those who are victims of rape.

Immediately after Deric was raided by the FBI, he began a publicity drive and also began to seek donations for both his future legal expenses and personal expenses.

It is alleged that Deric posted highly personal medical information about Ms. Goddard as well as another woman during the height of the heated battle between Ms Goddard and himself.

The incident regarding the reporting of her having a wild bird in captivity was perhaps the strangest chapter in this battle. It was the most surprising to me since I was completely unaware that there were laws in place regarding the domestication of what is a very common bird.

In this excerpt, Ms. Goddard brings up the civil lawsuit against her and two other defendants. She notes that Deric suggested that he might even seize her two dogs as part of any judgement in the event he prevails in court.

Ms. Goddard also points out that it is alleged that Deric violated the terms of his pretrial release to continue his public attacks against her and a number of others he has issues with.

Deric was warned at least twice by the court to cease and desist his violations and was given one final chance to comply or face punishment.

Ms. Goddard then cites an incident that sparked a massive amount of debate on social media. It was alleged that Deric was exploiting his “hacker” credentials as well as acting as an unlicensed private detective. agl5

Ms. Goddard in this section of the letter alleges that Deric one again violated or attempted to violate the Computer abuse and fraud act by making efforts to gain unauthorized access to internet websites or social media and email accounts.

Ms. Goddard also points out that it was Deric’s intention to make false accusations about those he targeted in much the same manner as the government accused him of doing in their indictment of him in the fall of 2016.

In the above excerpt, Ms. Goddard points out how Deric has been and is still using the civil court to seek revenge against his enemies. She also accuses him of contacting the employers of his targets and making efforts to cause them to lose their means of employment by having their professional licenses revoked.

In her closing, Ms. Goddard once again stresses her strong belief that Deric be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

This letter by far is the most damaging to Deric. Anyone who knows the history between him and Ms. Goddard and who have followed the deterioration of their relationship over the years can fully comprehend the extent of the evolution from being the closest of friends to being the bitterest of enemies.

In March, we will see how the judge reacts to the contents of the Goddard letter.

Those words uttered by President Trump reminded me of a little known incident that occurred in WW2 that was represented in a scene fromthe movie  Tora Tora Tora which accounted some of the mistakes that happened before and during the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The US Army installed what was then an experimental radar station on the small island of Oahu. The operators of the station spotted a group of aircraft approaching Hawaii and called in to their operations center.

When they informed the officer in charge of their discovery, they were told “don’t worry about it.” He assumed the operators had spotted a formation of B17’s coming in from from California.

This missed opportunity of an early warning of the impending attack caused the US military to be unprepared for the attack on Pearl Harbor. If the warning by the radar operators been heeded, the outcome of the attack may have been far different.

So, when President says “don’t worry about it” it is best, instead,¬† to worry.
