CM ECF U.S. Eastern District of Kentucky Version 6.1 CM ECF U.S. Eastern District of Kentucky Version 6.1(60)I was a bit surprised by this development for I had thought Deric was representing himself pro se. This letter is either a formality or Deric has changed his mind.

There are some differences in this latest letter although the subject remains more or less the same.

  1. Murt, could this just be a formality and that it was sent because Tor is still the attorney of record?

In the original filing, Deric filed that he was acting as his own atty. However, I have seen paperwork from the court that indicates that a lawyer would be supplied if he could not afford to pay for one himself. I would suspect that we are going to have to wait for this issue to work its way through the court. The letter to Tor was probably a formality as you said.
